Do you own a DVD rental site, are you considering advertising with us, learn more here
Let me start by outlining where my site is at and where I intend going with it. Very much at this stage it is still in development, I expect to launch it when I have minimum of five reviews. At this stage, the site will be advertised elsewhere (We have an extensive network of sites) and this will boost it’s traffic to a more desired level. I expect this to happen within 4-6 months, whilst I understand this is quite a long time frame, I do think ultimately it will result in a higher quality, experience driven, site which will differentiate us from our competitors.
A site like this walks a very delicate line, I hope to strike a happy medium between biased optimism and the more brutal user reviews seen on other sites, such a system may lead to harsher ratings than most others, but it is worth mentioning we don’t waste our time marking sites on how bad they are (we only have one rating for poor), so a rating of 2 is relatively higher than it may be elsewhere. Ultimately we are, like you, here to please the public.
I am exceptionally conscious that a site like this requires building a trusted and independent brand, and a major strategy in doing this is offering our readers special offers. I believe this represents a win-win situation. In our actual reviews we will be offering direct links to special offers. It is my belief that advertising like this coupled with the traditional banner adverts is the key to a successful partnership between ourselves, our readers and rental companies, representing a win-win-win situation. Whilst we must support the culture of blanket marketing the web is based on, we are trying to offer, more individualised, and ultimately successful marketing strategies through these special offers.
We are currently looking for affiliates (through online marketing schemes) and on an individual bases. It would be particularly advantageous to both you and I, if the suggested link for this banner lead to a special offer, for example something we could offer our readers as reward for following the link. The details of this offer, and indeed if it should be an exclusive offer are entirely up to you, however targeted marketing does work best, and we would prefer to build a personal relationship with you, and our readers.
