MyMovieStream merges with MovieMine
Following in the recent spat of takeovers and mergers MyMovieStream has now merged with MovieMine.
We weren’t overly impressed with MovieMine, and where slightly more impressed with MyMovieStream, so this can only be good news for members of Movie Mine.
A statement released my MyMovieStream stated:
“If you were on MovieMine’s 2-disc, 3-disc, or 4-disc unlimited package, the transition will be seamless, as MyMovieStream provides exactly the same packages at the same prices.
If you were on MovieMine’s 5-disc unlimited package, we have even better news, as you have been upgraded to MyMovieStream 6-disc unlimited package at just £24.99 per month – i.e. 1 more disc “out” and £1 less per month!
If you were on either the “1-disc unlimited” or the “fixed, 4-discs-a-month” package with MovieMine, please refer to your email for details of the transition packages that you will enjoy for your first 2 months with us and the options thereafter.”
We wish them the best of luck but hope this increase in size doesn’t put already fragile service in jeopardy. If managed correctly this could be good news but experience would denote otherwise.
